£10 & under, activities
Jon Davies in his fifth season of French Sundaes tackles the fine tradition of the French Thriller . L’assassin habite au 21 (1942), known in English as The Killer at Number 21, is directed by Henri-Georges Clouzot and stars Pierre Fresnay and Suzy Delair. The eternal cops v robbers set-up is examined in this extraordinary wartime comedy thriller, which takes an astonishingly frank view of French society. Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar. Doors open at 13.30, for a 14.30 start. The Cinema Museum has a fascinating programme of regular talks, film screenings, bazaars, exhibitions and live events, with presentations from key film industry experts and film historians. Events take place in either the impressive and spacious hall or the atmospheric 36-seat screening-room, with its old cinema seats and illuminated signage. The events provide an excellent opportunity to explore the Museum.
