French Sundaes: Le Corbeau (1943)

Jon Davies in his fifth season of French Sundaes tackles the fine tradition of the French Thriller. Le Corbeau (1943), is directed by Henri-Georges Clouzot and stars Pierre Fresnay, Ginette Leclerc and Pierre Larquey. In some of the best thrillers everyone becomes a suspect, leaving the audience guessing to the end. With Clouzot's classic thriller a whole town comes under suspicion, when The Raven starts sending poison pen letters. Refreshments will be available in our licenced cafe/bar.
