This March, St Margaret's House has planned an arts and wellbeing programme celebrating women in our community. As part of our diverse offering, Chapel Cinema is proud to present two outstanding documentaries: Saturday 10th March: GIRL RISING - 1.45pm (Free) Thursday 15th March: VESSEL - 6.45pm (£4 + stbf) We are thrilled to welcome the London-Irish Abortion Rights Campaign to introduce the film, who will give a local perspective to this global issue. About Vessel: Dr. Rebecca Gomperts sails a ship around the world, providing abortions at sea for women with no legal alternative. Her idea begins as flawed spectacle, faced with governmental, religious, and military blockade. But with each roadblock comes a more refined mission, until Rebecca realizes she can use new technologies to bypass law – and train women to give themselves abortions using WHO-researched protocols with pills. *We have limited space inside the venue, so make sure you buy your ticket in advance!
