homeless not hopeless festival
£10 & under, activitiesHomeless not Hopeless is a brand new festival which aims to use music and the spoken word to connect people who are homeless with people who aren't homeless. The festival will feature up and coming bands, professional DJs, insightful talks and spoken word performances. Tickets are available on the door. Festival goers will be asked to give a donation of their choice, to ensure the event is open and accessible to all. All profits will be given to the homeless charity Caritas Anchor House. Caritas Anchor House, which was recently praised by East Ham MP Stephen Timms for “their capacity to transform despair into hope” is based in Newham, East London. Last year alone, they provided a home for 231 people, helping 71 into independent living and supporting 63 into employment.
